Spirit Week and Winter Rally 1/26

On Friday 1/26 the Winter Rally will take place.  4th Block will begin early at 8:40 am with the Rally taking place at 10:22 am.  

Goodwill Donation Drive

The Fremont High School Choir is organizing a Goodwill Donation Drive next week on Saturday Jan 27th.


A Goodwill truck will be conveniently located in the back parking lot from 9am to 3:30pm, ready to receive your tax-deductible donations and hand-out receipts.


The choir will receive a monetary donation from the Goodwill after the truck is weighed. Last year we were able to fill one and a half trucks and received a donation Choir Director Mr. Howard used to buy instruments, equipment and music.


Please spread the word to family and friends and volunteer to help. We hope to see everyone Saturday! 



Guest Speaker During Lunch 1/23

Are you interested in becoming a doctor, investigating disease outbreaks, or working in health? If so, come to the Shannon Theater during Lunch on Tuesday, January 23rd, to learn from Dr. Sarah Lewis, MD, MPH, as she shares her experiences. Dr. Lewis studied at Stanford, Cornell, and UC Berkeley; she also conducted her residency at Harvard. Today, Dr. Lewis is an Assistant Health Officer and Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF. All students are invited!

SAT Prep Class

SAT Prep Class: Time to Sign-up!

Juniors and Sophomores, 

Do you plan to take the SAT this Spring? Students who learn test-taking techniques & strategies can significantly raise their confidence and their SAT scores.  The Fremont High PTSA is proud to offer an on-campus SAT Prep Class, “How to MASTER the SAT” taught by Future Path Prep.  Future Path Prep will give you the critical skills you need for success on the new SAT!

Class dates are Mon/Weds Feb 5, Feb 12, Feb 14, Feb 26, Feb 28 and Mar 5 after school from 3:30-5:30 pm, (Feb 26 and Feb 28 go until 6 pm) plus an in-class practice SAT test on Saturday, Feb 17.  The $130 class fee includes 13 hours of instruction and complimentary copies of The 2018 Official SAT Study Guide by the College Board ($25 value) and SAT Master by Future Path Prep.  A reduced class fee of $25 is available for eligible students. 

Register by Monday, January 15 in the ASB Office.  Class size is limited.  Priority will be given to juniors.  All sign-ups received by January 15 will be enrolled by lottery.

Cheer Camp

Listen Up Firebirds! Fremont High School Cheer team is hosting FHS's 2nd Annual Cheer Kid's Camp. We will be going over cheers, motions, jumps and tips on how to be a great cheerleader. We will hold two practices and showcase what we have learned at the quad game that week. Any elementary school student is welcome to attend, so tell you siblings and neighbors to sign up with the link tinyurl.com/fhskcc! Last day to sign up is 1/25/18 so sign up now!

IDC Exchange

Hey Firebirds! The annual Fremont IDC Exchange is coming up. This is the day where students from all schools will be attending FHS for one day! It will be held on 1/26/2018 during our WINTER RALLY! If you wish to be a host, fill out a form on tinyurl.com/fhsidchost18. This form will be due before 4th block on 1/19/2018. Fremont Art Exhibit

Fremont Art students will exhibit their beautiful artwork at the District Office starting January 6th until February 1st.

The displayed artwork was selected from the best work of current students enrolled in the FHS Art Program.

During the exhibit all are free to visit the District Office and view our student’s creations.

The District Office is located at 589 W Fremont Ave Sunnyvale, Ca 94087.



The Eating Disorders Resource Center in Los Gatos is accepting entries for their "Everybody's Beautiful" writing contest. The contest is held every year to spread awareness about body image and the beauty standards created by social media culture. Students in grades 6-12 are asked to create a poem or write an essay (in English or Spanish) answering one of the following questions: What do you love about yourself?, Why should others love and  accept themselves?, or How does the media affect body image?. You have the chance of winning up to $300 in cash, winners will also have their work published on their website.

On Tuesday February 13th Fremont High School Principal Emmert and Columbia Middle School Principal Allmann will be hosting a Community Building Event in the Columbia Middle School Teachers Lounge at 6pm.  All members of the Columbia Middle School or Fremont High School are invited to attend.  Refreshments will be served.
