Math Advancement via a Summer School Class

Some students who want to accelerate in math take a class over the summer. If you are taking a math class over the summer at another institution, you must complete the Request for Math Advancement via a Summer Class(This class will NOT be placed on your FHS transcript.) It is important to note you will be required to provide a transcript from the summer school to colleges when you apply.

Algebra 1 and Geometry Requirements for UC

Algebra I and Geometry are foundational math courses. Without a solid grounding in both courses, students will struggle in all higher level math courses. Further, the University of California system requires Geometry in order for a student to even be eligible to apply to a UC.

Trying to figure out what math class you should take next year?

Class of 2022 Event Calendar

Fechas de eventos para la Clase del 2022

Welcome Incoming 9th Graders!

We are excited to announce a new program for our incoming Freshmen Class of 2022! We are now using LINK as a program to replace Common Ground for next school year in August during our Freshmen Firebird Fiesta. LINK will significantly increase participation because every incoming freshman will be taking part of the program - ALL 600!

What is the GOAL of LINK?!?! The overarching goal is for incoming students to feel safe, connected, excited, and motivated to partake in the full range of educational and positive social opportunities offered at Fremont High School.

Here are our essential outcomes for LINK:

1) Safety – Students are introduced to the peers, teachers, and resources that are available to them in their new school community
2) Connection – Students gain a sense of belonging and begin to see themselves as a valued member of the community
3) Excitement – Students are energized and look forward to beginning their new school experience with less anxiety and fear
4) Motivation – Students are inspired to be successful students who are engaged and involved
