AVID Families Need Your Help

Former Board Member Nancy Newton has been inspired by the incredible stories of perseverance of our students.  All AVID scholarships at Fremont have been dispersed but there are still more students in need. Nancy Newton has decided to offer a “matching grant” in order to add to these scholarships and with your help fund more scholarships.  In response, the leaders in all of our AVID programs have developed senior scholarships, and worked with district leaders to create a webpage and PayPal account to accept (tax-deductible) donations from the community.  Each scholarship is eligible for up to $250 of matching funds from Nancy.

Here is the link to the new AVID website: http://fuhsd.org/AVID

Please feel free to share the link with friends and encourage them to show their support for our seniors as they head off to college.   Donations for this year will be accepted until May 1, 2017.
